Beach Worship
#DestinBeachWorship is a year-round beach ministry of Destin Methodist Church. You are invited & we’ll save a spot in the sand for you.
Locals, vacationers, snowbirds and online streamers … long-time followers of Jesus and those skeptical and trying to figure Jesus out – all are welcome!
If you’d like to join us, here are a few things you need to know.
Service Time & Location
7:30 am - the Crab Trap in Destin (3500 Scenic Hwy 98 E)
It is a good idea to arrive 10 minutes early to get situated for the service. You will be welcomed by greeters in yellow shirts in the parking lot who will direct you and answer any questions. If you have a beach chair available, please bring one. We have seating for about 225 but will run out during summer months. As far as what to wear, come as you are to the beach. We tend to dress pretty casually. When the weather is warm, shorts, shirts, flip flops, sunglasses and a hat are normal attire. During the winter, you will see us with hoodies, jackets and beanies.

Service livestream begins at 7:25 am every Sunday from the Crab Trap on app, church website, and two other popular platforms:

Outdoor events on the coast can be impacted by inclement weather!
In the event of a bad weather forecast in the morning, the Crab Trap service can either meet in a pavilion or move to an alternative location (Destin Methodist Church – 200 Beach Drive – in the Destin Life Center).
In the event of a bad weather forecast in the evening,
the Sunset service will be canceled.
Text notifications and Facebook will be updated
immediately when weather impacts a service.
